About
Global AI Frontiers Symposium 2026 brings together leading researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders shaping the future of AI.
Dear Esteemed Guests,
It is our distinct pleasure to welcome you to the Global AI Symposium 2026.
Our yearly Global AI Symposium 2026 is the second symposium, building on the success of the first, and we are honored to continue this important tradition with you.
This symposium convenes leading experts from academia, industry, research institutions, and government to examine the evolving role of artificial intelligence as it advances beyond theoretical capability into real-world implementation. Hosted by the National AI Research Lab of Korea in collaboration with global partners, the event provides a forum for rigorous discussion on the future direction of AI.
Under the main theme, “AI Beyond Intelligence: Into the Real World,” the symposium will address key areas including LLM & Agentic AI, Multimodal AI, AI for Science, Physical AI, AI for Life, and AI Safety. These topics reflect the growing integration of AI into critical domains and the need for responsible, reliable, and human-centered systems.
The program will feature presentations and panel discussions that bring together leading researchers and global industry leaders, fostering meaningful dialogue between research and real-world application.
In conjunction with the symposium, a special exhibition titled “Completing the AI Value Chain: From Research to Life – Korea’s National AI Innovation Alliance” will be presented. The exhibition illustrates how AI evolves across a complete value chain: from The Core of research, through The Backbone of infrastructure, and The Engine of industrial transformation, to The Experience of everyday life. It highlights how Korea is building an integrated AI ecosystem where research excellence, technological infrastructure, and industrial innovation converge to create tangible societal impact.
We would be honored by your presence as we explore how AI can move beyond innovation to become a fully realized system that transforms industries and enhances everyday life.
Thank you.
